Update on us...

As January has started I have really looked back at the year and think of all the fun things our family did. All though we didn't do very much and didn't have much new, we had some really good times to cherish. It was our first Full year in our House and neighborhood and we have grown to LOVE it here! We have wonderful neighbors and friendships that were built. Maddie has made so many new friends and has really blossomed out of her shell. Maddie started Preschool, Dance, and soccer in the fall! She has been loving everything she does and has really shown a great interest in all 3. She loves to learn, and has shown what a quick learner she really is with her activities as well. This girl loves to read and learn and gets so excited to go to preschool, and then so excited to tell me what she did that day. She is really learning well about her days. She recognizes her name really well. Each day she wakes up and says "mom, today I go to..." and she fills in the last word on the days she actually does that activity.. Preschool, Dance, Church... Its so fun to see her brain comprehend and learn! Kyler is really hilarious and so much fun at the stage he is in. He will be 18 months this April! He has really shown an interest in Basketball and has a real passion for it! Seriously have never seen a kid enjoy it so much. We bought him a little Kiddie basketball hoop for Christmas and boy have we gotten our money's worth. This kid plays basketball on average probably and hour to 2 hours per Day! He never gets sick of this sport! Even when we go to church each sunday and end up sitting in the gym (cause we are late) He will point up to the hoops they folded up and yell "HOOP!" We honestly love it and for Todd, he is so proud! Ky Loves Cars! He notices Mcqueen on shampoo bottles and yells CARS through out the store. We love this kid! He brings so much laughter into our home! He is starting to say full words and Phrases now and it amazing to see! We are so happy to see the spring weather coming! I have felt like a bear hibernating this past winter! I hate being in the cold and especially with Kyler only being a year old, The only times we left the house was to run errands, see family and friends, or go to church and work. I love to be outside and go for walks as long as the sun is out and its warm! We are really excited for the coming spring and summer!! We have so many plans already I can barely contain myself!! Todd and I have not been on a BIG trip out of state, just the 2 of us since our Honeymoon which was 5 years ago! So we planned when we first got married we would save up money for a cruise for our 5 year Anniversary! We are so happy and proud we did. So here we are 5 years later and VERY ready to head to Mexico for a week! We have worked very hard with both our jobs plus raising 2 kiddos and are feeling it is about time we took some time to enjoy ourselves away from everyday life! We leave the end of March and we are stoked. We are excited for upcoming events with Family and just start to enjoy outside time! We are excited to start to head up to the Hewlett Cabin and East Canyon for weekend trips to have fun! So far we are just busy working, playing with and raising 2 WONDERFUL kids, and enjoy things as they come. We feel so blessed and are Grateful for everyone and everything that is a part of our lives:) Here are a few pictures from my phone of things we have been up to, or just my favorites of the kiddos!
